Stumbled on this place about 8 months ago when visiting in the area and liked it so much, we make it a regular spot for breakfast when in town. Love these local, small town diners !
This is such a great place for a cozy atmosphere and great home style meal. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Service was great and food was served quickly. My breakfast was absolutely savory & delicious and I ate every single bite. Great job staff!
Got it to go and it was amazing. There homemade jam is amazing. And the blueberry pancake reminded me exactly like being at my grandma's house as a kid and having pancakes as big as the pan with blueberries. It was amazing!!!

Stopped for breakfast, was great we where traveling Stopped overnight, turned out to be a Great place. Always have to be careful but this was a great place thanks to everyone there .
Wife and I ate breakfast here while traveling through on a motorbike trip. It’s a “seat yourself” place although there’s no sign that tells you this nor did any of the kids looking at us from the back of the bar tell us while we stood there looking around. My wife asked loudly if we should seat ourselves and they said “yes”. We had half order of biscuits and gravy, potatoes, two eggs, couple pancakes and a waffle with strawberries. Food was great. Coffee was typical diner coffee. Service was excellent. 10/10 recommend just be sure to walk in and seat yourself!
First time here and breakfast was excellent. And it was only 15 bucks for alot of food. Look at that sausage pattie in the photos I left. Huge!!. Floor tile L👀Ks old school cool. Clean restaurant. Friendly ladies working the floor. Everyone needs to come down and support this restaurant. I'm not a breakfast person but I been up at 4am. Shoveling snow that fell over night and was hungry so I picked this spot out of all the spots in Laporte Indiana. (Awsome choice). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We are on vacation and my husband saw the reviews for this place so we tried it. Oh. My. Gosh. They knocked it out of the park with our food. I had the eggnog stuffy and I will never get over how good it is. It’s that food that when you go back home, you miss it and dream of it. The employees are so kind and welcoming, and gave us great suggestions of things to do while in this town. Belinda was a gem!
We've gone quite a bit, they have really good food my favorite is the eggs Benedict. Only one time was I super disappointed with my food, but to be fair they only had one cook working and it was a Sunday afternoon so understandable Update: still great food and service. Got the Belgian waffle with strawberries on top, delicious. Will be getting again. The western skillet is amazing, it comes with hollandaise sauce on top which completes the dish
